Troubleshooting: Solid Red EQ LED and Poor Sound Quality

Harmony A1 Solo speakers (Batch T25J2)

Issue

After long-pressing the EQ button, the EQ LED stays solid red.
Audio may still play, but sound quality is noticeably degraded. 

Cause

Long-pressing the EQ button activates an internal engineering mode.
This mode is indicated by a solid red EQ LED and is not intended for normal listening, which is why the sound quality changes.

Solution

• Short-press the EQ button once.
• The speaker will exit engineering mode and normal sound quality will be restored immediately.

Notes

• Avoid long-pressing the EQ button during normal use.

• A DFU firmware update to prevent this issue will be released in February 2026.
