Oasis Aura Is Not Detected During a Firmware Update — What Should I Do?

If the Firmware Update Tool does not detect your Oasis Aura, the USB cable may be the cause.

Some early Oasis Aura units from Batch No. 26B1 were shipped with a USB cable that does not support data transfer. A power-only cable may power the device, but the computer and updater cannot recognize it.

What to do

1. Disconnect Oasis Aura and close the Firmware Update Tool.
2. Reconnect Oasis Aura using your own USB data cable (not a power-only or charge-only cable).
3. Reopen the Firmware Update Tool and try the update again.
4. If you do not have a compatible USB data cable, contact Venucast Support. We can provide one free of charge.
